Licensed Massage Therapist
Amy is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR, and has found her calling working with folks on their healing journeys through caring, patient, touch and presence. Amy incorporates a blend of Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, and Swedish techniques into her sessions that is unique to the needs of the client. She focuses on decreasing stress and/or trauma related aches and pains in the body, as well as providing an overall nurturing, safe space for her client’s nervous systems to relax, unwind, and sink into the experience. She believes that practicing patience while working with the body is key to facilitating change.
Treatments are an ongoing collaboration between client and therapist. She also believes that the body and mind function as one, and must be treated together as such.
Amy has a passion for music and multiple forms of expressive, performance arts. She grew up playing the classical violin as well as some guitar and piano, loves to sing, appreciates the theater, and thrives when dancing freely to live music. Deep release can come from simply allowing our bodies to move intuitively and free from inner judgment. She tries to be near the trees and flowing water any chance she can get.
Availability: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday.
